Running Terms Defined


  1. Altitude Training: Training is needed when you have a bad altitude.
  2. Hill Repeats: What happens when you miss a turn on the course.
  3. Plantar Fascia: When you trip, you might plantar your fascia into the ground.
  4. Side Stitch: This is what you get when you see someone plantar their fascia into the ground.
  5. Supination: A nation that loves soup.
  6. VO2 Max: Too much conditioner in my hair.
  7. 5k: How much it costs me to buy running shoes every year.
  8. 10k: How much it costs me to pay for the races I run every year.
  9. The Wall: A Classic Album by Pink Floyd. For those who do not know what an album, it is a big black CD with music on it.
  10. Ultramarathon: It means that too much running has messed with your mind.
